Personal Bio
Kyle is a Carolina Friends School alum and a graduate of Smith College, where she majored in Education & Child Study and Studio Art with a concentration in oil painting. Upon graduation Kyle served as a Progressive Education Lab teaching fellow at three independent schools in the northeast and a long term substitute at the Cambridge Friends School. She then added to her range of experiences and toolkit as a full time middle school social studies teacher, advisor, and coach at the Friends School of Wilmington before beginning her work at San Francisco Friends School as a teacher, advisor, and coach in 2019-20. Kyle’s interests span far and wide from athletics including soccer, tennis, basketball, ultimate frisbee and dance, through painting and fashion, to social justice, leadership, and human development.

Starting her MSW in the fall of 2020 Kyle aspires to continue her work in schools and work to support LGBTQ students through direct practice and collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents to better understand how to support this population of adolescents.
